The flowers are starting to bloom and spring is in the air. Soon enough, Wellington Northeast’s two pools will open their doors for the 2016 swim season!
In order to boost recreational memberships this year, we have come up with some fun activities for you to enjoy. But remember, the pools, tennis courts, and recreational facilities are available for paying members only.
If you want to get in on the action, you’ll need to pay the recreational membership fee and sign up. For those of you who do, here’s what you have to look forward to:
Due to popular demand, Wellington Northeast’s two pools will remain open until 9:00 p.m. when weather permits. This will allow for more family fun on those long summer nights we all love, plus leave more room for adults to swim.
In addition, we are excited to introduce Adult Swim Nights at the North Pool. Enjoy three uninterrupted hours of adult (ages 21 and up) swim action without having to get out of the pool for breaks or enduring the splashing of Wellington Northeast’s children.
Light snacks and soft drinks will be provided by the Wellington Northeast Neighborhood’s Association.
When:
The South Pool will remain open for families with children on adult swim nights for the 2016 season.
To add more value to your recreational membership package, we’ve hired a professional aerobics teacher to teach water aerobics at the South pool, plus opened it up for adult lap swimming on Saturday mornings. The schedule for both events is as follows:
Water Aerobics (Adults Only)
Where: South Pool
Dates:
(No water aerobics on August 6th, August 27th, or September 3rd)
Adult Lap Swimming (Adults Only)
Where: South Pool
We hope you’ll join us for this summer’s activities, and can’t wait to see you at both pools!
